Weehuggers Diaper Cover

I can't say enough of good things about Weehuggers diaper covers!

Photobucket

Above, is a Size 2 Weehuggers diaper cover in the adorable Whales print in snaps, on my 13-week-old at 16 lbs. The one thing I like most about these diaper covers is that they are a One-Size diaper cover, so they fit my 30 lb. toddler, as well!

Weehuggers diaper covers are very easy to use! They feature leg gussets which help prevent against any "blow-outs" from happening. They come in snaps or velcro, and both offer an adjustable and secure fit! Weehuggers diaper covers are made of durable waterproof polyester solids and designer cotton prints. You can use cotton prefolds, fitted diapers, or the Weehuggers Bamboo Inserts with these covers.

They also feature "stay-put" laminated bamboo/organic cotton flaps that insure that the inserts stay in place. Also, the natural fibers gently wick moisture away from your babies' delicate skin. This is great, because it helps prevent any redness or rashes forming on your baby's skin!

Weehuggers diaper covers can be purchased at various online cloth diaper stores, such as ZabiBaby, and many more! You have to try one, if you never have! I absolutely love them.

Philips Avent Baby Bottles

We used Philips Avent Bottles with our first son, 2 1/2 years ago, and we use them now even, with our second son. It was a rocky road at first, when we started using them for the first time, but now we love them!

Two and a half years ago, when we purchased Avent bottles for our oldest son, they were not BPA-Free. The good thing is, now Avent only makes BPA-Free bottles! In order to tell that the Avent bottles you are buying, are in fact BPA-Free, look for the bottles with a natural honey-colored tint to them. In the picture above, the older style of bottle is pictured on the left, while the newer style (the BPA-Free version) is on the right. You can see the different, as the older style is crystal clear, and the newer version has a tanish honey-colored tint to it.

In 2008, we had trouble with them leaking. I was desperate, so I contacted Avent. After some "trouble-shooting" we learned how properly seal the nipple, to the ring of the bottle to make them not leak. After that, we had no more to very few leaks. If they leaked beyond this point, it was obviously our fault for not sealing them properly.

I like Avent bottles, mainly because they have a built-in valve to help reduce air going into your baby's tummy. Avent bottles are also proven to help reduce colic! A major plus, there. Breastfeeding Moms also like these bottles because the have a natural-shaped nipple which helps aid against nipple confusion.

Another very nice thing about Avent bottles is that their nipples, rings, and spouts are all interchange with their sippy cups (which we own, as well, but that's another review all in it's own!)

Baby All Laundry Detergent

Both of my boys have semi-sensitive skin, but they do just fine with Baby All laundry detergent!

Photobucket
Nothing beats the smell of baby clothes, freshly cleaned, right out of the dryer!

I discovered Baby All shortly our first son was born, and gave it a try. At first, we used Dreft, until I found this more affordable alternative, which does the same job (in my opinion!) The main benefits of Baby All are: It is gentle for your baby's skin, fights stains, costs less than other baby detergents, and it has a nice, soft baby scent! It has a very light smell, and is not perfumey!

The only con of using Baby All is that it is hard to find in stores! The only local store (for me, anyway) that carries Baby All, is K-Mart.

Introduction

I am a stay-at-home mom of two, and am loving every minute of it.

I decided to create this blog to benefit other Moms out there. I am dedicated in sharing my favorite baby, children, and family products- along with helpful reviews. I, for one, always read reviews of products before purchasing them, especially baby and children products! My boys mean the world to me, and I want what's best for them (and I'm sure you, as a Mom- feel the same way!)

Thanks for visiting! I hope you share this journey with me, as I post about products and their reviews! I also plan to discuss topics on current deals, being frugal, saving money, & living green(er). Please stick around, because Giveaways and much more are coming soon!
